Research Theme

My research focuses on real-time dynamic software sensing based on high-speed vision. Treating each pixel of a high-speed imaging system as an individual optical sensor, I exploit its high temporal and spatial resolution to construct distributed sensing frameworks. Based on this principle, I have developed various sensing applications, including vibration distribution visualization sensors, rotation encoder sensors, and tapping sensors such as virtual keyboards that detect subtle fingertip contact motions.
My technical contributions include real-time GPU-accelerated processing synchronized with high-speed camera frame rates, AI-based segmentation methods for robust low-noise region extraction, comprehensive dynamic property measurement of infrastructure and mechanical systems, and techniques for fitting distributed measurement data onto 3D models. Through these developments, my work aims to enable accurate spatiotemporal measurement and understanding of dynamic phenomena.
